NOW TWO DAYS LONG!! Flying High On Kenosha's Beautiful’s Lakefront!

On Saturday, June 2nd and June 3rd 2012, The Kite Society of Wisconsin & Illinois,the City of Kenosha, and Gift of Wings are presenting the 11th annual The FELLE LUNDGREN & ASSOCIATES Outta Sight Kite Flight Kite Festival, in Kennedy Park, on Kenosha’s beautiful lakefront. The event will begin at 10:00 am, through 5:00 pm on both days, with the GRAND LAUNCH of 300 plus kites at NOON.

For the ELEVENTH time at this event, The Chicago Fire Precision Kite Team will be performing. EOS, a precision kite flying team, and will be also be performing three times during this event. They are a world renowned professional kite flying team from Chicago. In addition to Chicago Fire, and EOS, The giant Kites of Alex and Julie from Montreal Canada, will be making another appearance with their Super Giant Octopus kite. Kenosha’s own professional Kite flyer, Dan Newman will be performing, along with Mike Delfar, and Paul Koepke, all Professional kite flyers. Josh and Zach Gordon will also be performing. The Kenosha News will be making free kites for the kids.

This family event is FREE to all, with FREE parking. We will also be giving away free kites to the first 100 kids that participate in the Educators Credit Union “KIDS MAD DASH”. The Kids Mad Dash is 100 kids launching their kites all at the same time. The winner, the first kid that reaches the highest altitude in 60 seconds.. LOOK OUT and LOOK UP! Contests for the largest and smallest kites, most creative kite and the youngest and oldest kite flyers, will also be held. Feel free to contact me at 414/305-3145.
